Health Update

Our Veterans, visitors and staff are our No. 1 priority. Currently, the best way to protect everyone from circulating viral infections is to practice social distancing. Therefore, we temporarily will restrict entry access to Truman VA to only the Patient Education Center hallway doors. Everyone who enters Truman VA will receive a health screen before admittance. Please note that the ER and the main door entrances will not be accessible during this time.

Effective immediately, Truman VA will temporarily suspend all inpatient visitation access until further notice as of 6 p.m, March 22. Thank you all for your support as we work to keep our Veterans, their families, and our staff as safe as possible. Click here for more information.
case-by-case basis.

Veterans, if you have flu-like symptoms such as fever, cough and shortness of breath, call us at (573)814-6580 before you visit your local medical center or clinic. In addition to calling first, consider using virtual care options such as telehealth or My HealtheVet Secure Messaging.  Learn more »
